WKA Manufacture cup; 201.10: Non-structural weights added to meet minimum kart/driver weight requirements must be bolted securely to the kart using bolts of at least 5/16" diameter. Weights in excess of 7 lbs.must use two or more 5/16" bolts.

WKA Gold cup; 251.10: Non-structural weights added to meet minimum kart/driver weight requirements must be bolted securely to the kart using bolts of at least 5/16" diameter. Weights in excess of 7 lbs.must use two or more 5/16" bolts.

AKRA; Section 3, 2.B. Ballast: All weights added to the kart must be securely fastened to the kart with a minimum 5/16-inch diameter bolt. Any single weight weighting in excess of seven pounds shall utilize a minimum of two 5/16-inch minimum diameter bolts.
